About me
LANGUAGE, WORDS AND CREATIVITY
Hi, I’m Sara!
I come from the Marche region in Italy, and I’ve loved every form of art for as long as I can remember. When I turned seven, my parents bought me a cassette tape of the Spice Girls debut album for my birthday. I was listening to it one day and I wondered what they were saying.
Creative kid that I was, I started stringing random letters together hoping to magically pronounce at least one real English word. Tales, films and music were already part of my daily life back then.
Adults used to tell me that I always had my head in the clouds, but creativity would actually take me to many other places.

My
PATH
Then I grew up and life made me briefly forget that artistic side. But as they say, you can never truly run away from yourself. One day, my creative side came knocking at the door again, and I answered. I started studying modern languages and translation and ended up living in England, Spain and Luxembourg.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistic Mediation from Macerata University (Italy), my final dissertation was about Afro-American English and its representation through the media. I then specialised in audiovisual translation and media accessibility through a Master’s Degree in Seville (Spain).
I then did several internships at subtitling agencies of various European countries, amongst these I completed my last traineeship at the audiovisual unit of the European Parliament in Luxembourg.
Later, I spent a year collaborating with a premier dubbing studio in Rome, providing dubbing assistance, post-production script transcription, and dialogue translation.
I LOVE MY JOB
It forces me to never settle for the surface meaning, pushing me to find fresh interpretations every time. Wordplay, semantic nuances, and cultural references are among the most exciting—yet challenging—aspects of this profession.
I approach every project with deep curiosity, patience, precision, and an eye for detail, pouring boundless passion into every step.
I collaborate with dubbing studios, subtitling agencies, content creators, and any company or professional in need of high-quality media localization.
